From developing original literary works and historical narratives to producing educational media initiatives and promotional campaigns, our mission is to preserve important cultural stories while creating meaningful opportunities for future generations. We believe that history, when thoughtfully shared, becomes more than a record of the past,  it becomes a bridge to the future.

One of our most exciting initiatives is the launch of D. Roots Broadcaster, an educational newsletter dedicated to exploring, documenting, and celebrating the rich and influential history of Black broadcasting. This informative publication shines a spotlight on the pioneering men and women who built radio stations, broke barriers behind microphones and cameras, informed communities, entertained audiences, and helped shape the communications industry as we know it today.

Through compelling articles, historical features, broadcaster profiles, educational resources, and industry insights, D. Roots Broadcaster seeks to increase awareness of the remarkable legacy of Black broadcasting while inspiring a new generation of communicators, journalists, broadcasters, and media professionals. It is both a tribute to the trailblazers who paved the way and an investment in the students and young professionals who will carry that legacy forward.
