Delta Roots Entertainment Group is far more than a company formed for commerce or entertainment. It is a purpose-driven cultural enterprise born out of reverence, sacrifice, memory, and responsibility,  a living commitment to honor, preserve, and actively uplift the proud and enduring heritage of the entertainment industry and the communities that gave it life. It stands as a testimony to the voices that refused to be silenced, the musicians who turned pain into poetry, and the broadcasters who carried truth, culture, hope, and identity across the airwaves into homes, churches, juke joints, storefronts, and communities throughout America.

This vision was not created in a corporate boardroom detached from struggle or history. Delta Roots Entertainment Group was born from the soil of experience, from the echoes of Southern music traditions, from the stories of people who transformed hardship into creativity and turned rhythm into survival. It is rooted deeply in the spirit of the Mississippi Delta and the historic entertainment communities whose influence shaped not only American culture, but cultures around the world. The company carries within its foundation the emotional weight of generations who sang through oppression, broadcast through adversity, and built cultural institutions with little more than determination, faith, and talent.

From communities built upon the audacious belief that Black people could define their own destiny, Delta Roots Entertainment Group draws both its moral compass and its creative direction. It honors the dreamers, educators, musicians, broadcasters, promoters, writers, performers, and visionaries who stood against impossible odds and still managed to create beauty powerful enough to move the world. Their sacrifices are not viewed as distant history, but as sacred responsibilities that must now be protected, documented, celebrated, and carried forward for future generations.

At the heart of this enterprise is a profound respect for the broadcasting industry and for the guardians of the entertainment world who understood that media was never simply about sound or performance—it was about connection, identity, empowerment, and survival. Black radio stations became lifelines for communities too often ignored by mainstream institutions. Musicians became historians, poets, and cultural ambassadors. Broadcasters became trusted voices who informed, inspired, and unified entire generations. Delta Roots Entertainment Group exists, in part, to stand in service to that enduring legacy.

With unwavering dedication, Delta Roots Entertainment Group seeks to elevate visibility, strengthen appreciation, and shine a meaningful light upon the extraordinary commitment of those who preserved music, culture, education, and community voices during some of the most challenging chapters in American history. The organization believes that entertainment is not merely amusement; it is memory, identity, education, resistance, and hope woven together through melody, storytelling, and communication.

Every project developed under the Delta Roots banner carries this mission forward. Whether through music publishing, educational initiatives, broadcasting history, literary works, documentaries, artist development, or cultural programming, the company seeks to remind audiences that the entertainment industry has always been powered by human stories, stories filled with struggle, triumph, heartbreak, faith, innovation, and perseverance.

Delta Roots Entertainment Group stands today as both a guardian of history and a builder of bridges into the future. It is committed to ensuring that the voices of the past are never forgotten while simultaneously creating opportunities for new generations to learn, create, perform, broadcast, and lead. In an era where culture can easily be commercialized and disconnected from its roots, Delta Roots Entertainment Group remains dedicated to protecting the soul of the music, the integrity of the stories, and the dignity of the communities from which they came.

This enterprise moves forward with a clear understanding that the entertainment industry helped shape the emotional and cultural heartbeat of America. Delta Roots Entertainment Group proudly embraces the responsibility of helping preserve that heartbeat—one story, one song, one broadcast, and one generation at a time.

OUR TEAM
Logo .jpg

The strength of Delta Roots Entertainment Group is not found merely in titles, business plans, or organizational charts. Its true strength lives within the people who stand behind the vision—seasoned, battle-tested professionals whose lives have been forged in the demanding, unpredictable, and ever-changing world of entertainment. These are individuals who have lived through the triumphs and disappointments of the industry, who understand both the spotlight and the sacrifice, and who carry with them decades of wisdom earned not from theory, but from experience.

This team was not assembled overnight. It was built through years of relationships, hard work, long nights, difficult lessons, and an unshakable belief in the power of culture, music, broadcasting, and community. Together, they represent a living bridge between the golden eras of Black entertainment and the future generations now searching for guidance, opportunity, and inspiration.

At the helm stands Howard Rambsy, Sr., proud son of Mississippi and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Roots Entertainment Group. His leadership is grounded not only in business knowledge, but in a lifetime of cultural experience deeply rooted in the traditions, struggles, and triumphs of Southern Black life. Howard Rambsy, Sr. brings to the organization a steady hand, a clear vision, and an unwavering sense of responsibility toward preserving the stories and voices that history too often attempted to overlook.

His journey through music, education, broadcasting, and entertainment has allowed him to witness firsthand the transformative power of the arts. He understands that entertainment is not simply about performance, it is about survival, identity, memory, and human connection. His leadership style reflects the wisdom of someone who has walked through both opportunity and adversity while never losing sight of the importance of integrity, community, and cultural preservation.

Serving as Director of Promotions and Distribution is Edward Fuller, a man whose experience within the entertainment industry carries the weight and authenticity of lived history. Edward Fuller’s career was built not in comfort, but in the demanding realities of promotion, artist development, relationship building, and the relentless pursuit of opportunities in an industry where success often came at a high personal cost.

His professional path includes invaluable experience alongside the late Willie Bean, one of the most respected and influential promoters in entertainment circles. Through those experiences, Fuller learned the realities of navigating the business side of music—the negotiations, the radio relationships, the artist struggles, the marketing battles, and the delicate balancing act required to sustain careers in an ever-changing marketplace.

Edward Fuller’s deep involvement with legendary groups and artists such as The Jacksonians, Lanier and Company, and the iconic Shirley Brown further sharpened his understanding of the soul of Southern music culture. Those experiences placed him directly inside the heartbeat of Black entertainment during pivotal moments in its evolution. What Fuller brings to Delta Roots Entertainment Group is more than technical knowledge or promotional expertise. He brings institutional memory.

Another deeply valuable force within the organization is Rob Neal and the International Black Broadcasters Association (IBBA), whose longstanding dedication to broadcasting and media advocacy represents a cornerstone of the company’s broader cultural mission. Rob Neal’s connection to the broadcasting industry reflects not only professional expertise, but a heartfelt commitment to preserving and strengthening Black media voices at a time when authentic representation remains critically important.

The IBBA’s commitment to supporting broadcasters, preserving industry history, and mentoring future generations aligns powerfully with the mission of Delta Roots Entertainment Group.

This is not simply a team assembled to conduct business. It is a collective of storytellers, protectors of legacy, builders of opportunity, and guardians of culture—individuals united by a shared commitment to ensuring that the voices, music, and stories that shaped generations will continue to inspire the world for years to come.

Our Mission

At Delta Roots Entertainment Group, our mission is rooted in reverence and responsibility. We exist to honor the lived experiences, traditions, and creative spirit of the Mississippi Delta,  and of Black America as a whole. Ours is a commitment to pay homage to the way of life shaped by hard soil, deep faith, unbreakable families, and the music, words, and wisdom that rose from it all.

We will work to highlight the legacies and contributions that have shaped our world but are often overlooked by history.  We will shine a light on the radio stations that carried voices across cotton fields and dirt roads, the newspapers that informed and empowered communities, and the everyday people whose quiet strength and brilliance shaped culture, progress, and possibility.

This journey cannot be complete without you. Your voice, your memories, your questions, and your concerns are essential to what we do. We are here to listen, to learn, and to serve, approaching the history and culture of the Delta, and far beyond it, with humility, care, and deep respect. Together, we will preserve the past, honor the present, and help ensure these stories continue to live, breathe, and inspire generations to come.
